about

Mexican imprint Duro is back with a new EP from Moisés Ramírez aka Moisees, co-founder of the label. 'Train Station Philosophy' is the name of the seventh release: three acid infused tracks designed for the dance floor.

After a couple of different aliases (Silver Light, Blackout) and a few years confined in office work, Moisés is finally back into the studio again. This EP narrates his latest months there, a chaotic and strange moment in his life but with meaningful learning moments.

Opening the pack is "Going To Nowhere", a rolling drum six minute track with a defying flute melody that sounds like a call to war in an ancient tribe. The mood of the track feels bold, like when you bravely face yourself with your own disastrous reality.

Next is “Little Changes” a happier and energetic track with rolling drums, shaking synths and a laser solo synth that unfolds into a sawtooth wave synth climax.

Last is “Train Station Philosophy”, a raw-acid track with Japanese vocals and odd synthesizers. The mood feels eagerly disoriented, reminding that moment before you finally find some clarity in life.
